Hi, I'm Lindsey P. I am a proud wife and stay at home mom.

After my first child was born, I started to focus on the ingredients used in our everyday health and beauty products. The more and more research I did, the more nervous and upset I became towards companies and their lack of care towards consumers.

Fast forward two years, shortly after having my second child, I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. During my fight against this disease, I began researching possible causes. I soon began to learn just how many harmful ingredients were not identified on product labels.

I vowed once I recovered to share my knowledge through my newly established company producing all natural products, that include soaps, balms, bath salts, etc etc.

My books are intended to not only educate, but also to share the knowledge and passion that I have gained through my struggles over the last few years.

I hope you enjoy my books. Happy reading!

I received this product at FULL PRICE and have left my honest and unbiased review. I take this seriously and my opinion and experience is my own. I am in no way required by the seller to leave positive remarks about their product. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

I found this to be a very interesting book full of ideas and recipes for many uses.
However there were some not so interesting parts unless you are interested in and understand chemistry.
This also works as a jumping off place for even more uses and ideas. A lot of the recipes can be used as diffuser blends by simply not using the carrier oils or butters.
I feel that this will be one of my "go-to" books for information.

I fell in love with essential oils when I got sprayed by water infused with them at the festival I went to a few weeks ago. I could feel how healthy they were on my skin. I am going to start using the instructions in this book to make peppermint and sage oil out of the herbs that are growing in my garden.

I regret this purchase. It only contains a few pages about "making essential oils", and most of what it does have is grossly inaccurate.

The first tutorial describes alcohol extraction, mislabeled as EO. The second describes crock pot distillation and calls the finished product EO, but doesn't even touch on the process of EO/hydrosol separation.

The rest of this is all recipes and EO use suggestions, which I couldn't even bring myself to read. There were SO MANY problems in the first 5 pages, I have no faith in anything the rest of the book might contain.

I started seeking natural alternatives for better healthy living, and I was tired o of paying my Homeopathic Dr. For over priced oils that her and her husband made for her patients. This book is easy to follow and I look forward to feeling better.

I liked the contents of the book but they really need a proof reader. The structure is lacking. Also, could have been condensed into smaller type and margins.

Lots of info on what the oils are good for, products that can be made from them but very little on actually making the essential oil. A couple low yielding home methods, then it goes on to infusions. Actual distilling using a still is not covered.

The title is very misleading as this book dedicates only one chapter to the actual processes involved in producing essential oil. This is more an aromatherapy book.

This is not a book, is a very badly written pamphlet!! For Example ..."Extracting essential oil using is very and can be done from home" ....??? (page 13). ..."when the plant material is already wilted and dried, its ready to be grounded'...??? (page 15) . Only one ''recipe" is given for making essential oil and it includes putting orange peel in a jar, and leaving it for ..." 3 days or more"... (page 9). No specific amounts are given, no references to back up the claims made ..." Alzheimer's Disease...slow down its progress using...aromatherapy"...(page 26). ....."Acne may not be considered as a health hazard'...??? (page 41). ..."you can detect genital warts by dabbing diluted vinegar into the area'...??? (page 49). This pamphlet is a shameful attempt as a guide to anything. Shame on Amazon for advertising it.
