The Muslim Entrepreneur: 10 Success Principles from the Greatest Muslim Entrepreneurs [Print Replica] Kindle Edition

4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars 267 ratings

The Muslim Entrepreneur book fills the void between Islam and wealth.
Do you want to be a wealthy Muslim?
Would you like to know who the successful Muslims are and what are they doing?
If so, you are at the right place.

I am going to introduce to you some of the world’s most brilliant Muslim Entrepreneurs. They have opened up and shared their secrets.
The world of business and success is tough and very competitive. Some other authors have written extensively on the subject of success. They also have covered the biographies of successful entrepreneurs.

However that information is only partially relevant to a Muslim audience since a big part of success is dependent on one’s beliefs and spiritual values. This is the first book that deals exclusively with Muslim Entrepreneurs.
What are they doing to win big in today’s competitive environment?

I had the privilege to interview 40 of them and this book is the result. This information is purely derived from the teachings of Muslim Entrepreneurs that are achieving an unusual level of success in terms of income, impact and originality. These entrepreneurs are from different parts of the World – from the Indian subcontinent to the Middle East to Africa, Europe and North America.

You are in for a ride! Buckle your seat belt! To the Author’s knowledge,
this is the first time such a book has been released in the last few centuries.
So, if you’re wondering; how can I make a lot of money as a Muslim? How can I gain an advantage over the rest?

What can I do with my money?
What challenges can I expect along the way?
What skills do I need to succeed in today’s marketplace?

Then know that these are exactly the questions “The Muslim Entrepreneur” answers. And much more!
I will see you on the other side inshaAllah.

Oumar Soule was born in a traditional Muslim family of west African roots.

His favourite quote is "When you truly understand your Creator, the Dispenser of wealth, you will know that all wealth is actually yours"

His first book "The Muslim Entrepreneur - 10 success principles from the greatest Muslim entrepreneurs" became successful quickly and reached the best seller ranks both in the West and in the Muslim world.

Around the age of 13, he started a business selling comic books. He would realize 100% profit margins that would give him a taste of entrepreneurship and the thrill of making profits.

He went on to study the Mathematics of financial markets in Canada. Around that time he was introduced to direct sales. Oumar sold many things in North America including solar panels, lawn care services, coffee products. He read many books to improve his business skills but quickly noticed the lack of Islamic texts on the subject of wealth, entrepreneurship, high performance.

That is when he embarked on a 2 year journey interviewing some of the world's most successful Muslim entrepreneurs. He was surprised by the level of success they had achieved and became very excited to bring it to the world.

Oumar Soule is also a husband, a father and an avid karate practitioner.

it is very relevant to a Muslim because it relates success and Islam together as one thing. I have read other books on success from Jim Rhon, Brian Tracy, and a few more; most of the things they say are in alignment with Islam, approximately 80-90%, but that remaining 10-20% percent is dangerous if you are not educated Muslim that can lead you unconsciously to materialism atheism, etc...

This is the kind of book I've been waiting for...this is going to be a bestseller very soon GodWillingly, but most importantly, by the grace of Allah Almighty (God), will draw more and more people to the social justice and beautiful entrepreneurship values & mercy that Islam brings to us all. I started reading it with the intention of reading only a few pages, next thing I know I'm on page 50, the ideas and table of contents are neatly organized and I'm learning so much already. I would recommend this book to anyone, it'll help you understand the principles of Islam and especially how it relates to business principles. I can't wait to finish reading, which should hopefully be this weekend.

I was not planning on reading the book as soon as I purchased it due to my long list of books to read. I said I will just read the first few pages, as soon as I started reading I got hooked and stayed up late. I still did not finish reading the book and I usually don't give reviews before completing the book but as soon as I reached page 42, the last two lines of that page contain a secret that I thought I only knew about that secret changes the universe laws to work on your favor and make you a successful entrepreneur. No matter what you are going through, no matter what obstacles you are facing, that secret in page 42 last two lines will open the doors of Rizq for you!

Jazak Allah Khair Oumar for this wonderful work may Allah make us live in paradise on this earth as well as the after life.

I have been reading a lot of books about success & successful entrepreneurs and have also read a lot of success stories about some of world's most successful people. That was when I started asking myself what about successful people and entrepreneurs among Muslim's? I started finding books about them and to my surprise could not find any books written about successful Muslim.
Jazakallah Khair to brother Oumar Soule for taking this initiative and writing such a wonderful book about Muslims Entrepreneurs.

Most importantly it addresses is such a straight, clear, concise and simple way a MAJOR aspect muslims are lacking in. This is an absolute absolute must read for every muslim, to change our mindset and become leaders and bosses and contribute to the ummah. The book addresses the need for this and show you how to do it. Enough of working to make somebody else a millionaire. Get your copy, you will not regret it.

I've known Oumar for a few years now, and have personally seen him grow through his experiences as an academic, mentor, entrepreneur and a leader. Which gives me good reasons to pay attention to him. It is important to intellectually invest in the author of the book, this is the case here, as well.

The topic of this book, and Oumar's presentation of the thesis is immediately relevant to readers today. In this age of democracy in design, development, and marketing, here comes a powerful reminder. The Prophet strongly encouraged working and earning one's living; the message of this book presents that within our contemporary context. It has lays out critical pointers merged with humbling and realistic themes.

As I re-read it, I will try and update my review.
