    I had so much fun reading this novella. It was sexy, adorable, and reminded me of a (really good) Hallmark holiday movie. I really enjoyed how the story was set against the back drop of various Christmas events around town, twisted to take advantage of the South Texas location. I loved the heroine, Ginger.     These are two absolutely perfect for each other characters. Classic friends-to-enemies-to-lovers story. I can totally see all of these things and thought it was great how they got everything into the open. The best part was in the hospital with her mom. Totally priceless. This is the fourth story I've read so far and I'm excited to get into the rest.

These two were besties growing up until middle school aka junior high, when he moved on to hang out with the popular kids….and relentlessly picked on her. Fast forward, and he comes back and wants the curvy girl he left behind. I thought it spoke of what a great person she is to give him a chance after everything that happened, personally second chances are never my thing, throw in the hormones of high school, and that is really not my thing. Despite him not being my preference, he was absolutely smitten with her, as he should be. He knew he wanted her as soon as he was back in town.

    Lots of chemistry, cute second chance romance, with a side of naughty. There was an ex trying to cause trouble, but he shut that down right away. No drama for this guy and the object of his affection. Epilogue and a much deserved hea. Definitely will be reading more Kat Baxter books, so cute.

    Loved this festive love story. Ginger and Brock were childhood best friends, until middle school when Brock started playing he popularity game. Now he's back and determined to put things right with his friend and show her that he's here to stay and that she’s the one he wants.
    Ginger was a confident women but had some knock backs with her love life, so she finds it hard to understand why Brock would want her.
