Smells Like Radiation Kindle Edition

5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars 7 ratings

Smells Like Radiation is a humorous story that depicts the frailties in the human condition. The lengths people will go to believe what they wish to believe, is unashamedly put on display. Lorne Kingston is a teenager awakening into adolescence while trying to maintain his sanity. When he and his best friend, Les Jensen, collaborate to construct a UFO landing site, it grows into much more than a mischievous lark. Once the police and many UFO enthusiasts are brought in, one lie turns into another until the entire bizarre situation spins out of control. It is loosely based on actual events, a must-read.

Sometimes funny, sometimes sad, but a look back in time to see how very hard some families had it and the role addictions can play.

Lorne Kingdon is a master story teller whose secret weapon is a great sense of the ridiculous. The fact that Smells Like Radiation is based on fact is just icing on the cake!

Looking forward the next one! Lorne is one hell of a story teller and should consider turning this one into an audio book! Well done Lorne!!!
