The Story Weaver Kindle Edition

4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars 8 ratings

If you are looking for the blurb, you would know that since the first generation of Story Weaver books, blurbs have been rendered completely superfluous, due to reading becoming an out moded form of story consumption. In fact the only people left with the skills to read such are librarians, and you should know better. Banned under the reading act 8891, blurbs are no longer available, sorry. If you have any questions or complaints about this, see your head librarian. Though it is generally not wise to ask questions!

Alexander Way-B has a background in art and design and grew up in the south of England. He has travelled extensively, and lived and worked in Japan, and France. He loves camping and walking, cares deeply for the planet and for conservation – which features in his books.

He is dyslexic and only discovered the true enjoyment of reading fiction when his young daughter, Daisy-B, first pressured him into reading a novel to her! Since then, they have read hundreds of novels together. They can often be found immersed in the wonderful world of mystery and adventure or creating their own exciting tales. 'The legend of the Ultimate Treasure' is one of those tales – the first to be turned into an actual novel and is fast gaining popularity with 9 – 13’s.

Current work involves a science fiction series for 9-13’s

I have read several books by the author and this is another book with an important message all while showcasing the authors creative mind. Well worth checking out!

"We are all stories in the end," said a famous time traveler and this is never more evident than in this beautiful tale. Marge lives in a society where reading is a lost art, but everyone's life is ruled by the stories they consume. (hmmm...sounds like modern society's need for constant entertainment. Hidden message, Alexander and Daisy?) When Marge's vocation is chosen by the Storyweaver, the unexpected career sets her on a life altering path not only for herself, but her entire world.

The Storyweaver creates a compelling allegory between fiction and reality. As the author creates a magnificent world for the reader to enjoy and experience, so does the Storyweaver for the people she cares for. And like the authors, the Storyweaver places her people in danger that only the MC can resolve. This is truly a masterful tale on so many different levels, with exquisite world building, strong characters and a unique twist at the end that will keep readers engaged long into the night.

A simple tale of rediscovering something that was lost. Except it's not quite that simple, and if you don't know what's lost, it is hard to find.
It is a great story for those who like to get lost in a book, transported elsewhere for just a short while.
